No notification of expired ID numbers

When entering P/R transactions (Hours/Piecework), an employee with an ID number (alien ID, Drivers Lic., etc) that is expired or about to expire should show a blinking expiration date, but after 2000 did not.

Error while archiving O/E invoices

The error "attempt to write a record longer than record length" occurred during the Rebuild History File Index section of the archive routine. Cause was the history file of invoices exceeding 100,000. Fixed to handle up to 999,999. Download BOTH files below, After doing the update using the KISS utilities (explained below), You should rebuild the index for OEMASTER using the KISS utilites, then using the O/E menu Files: Status/Purge/Verify option, you must Rebuild the History file index also.

Enhanced Maintenace routine for the O/E History Files

The purging option for the O/E history files has been enhanced to reduce the actual file size according to the records removed, rather than make the space reusable within the same file. Also the history file may now be verified, but should be done only at the instruction of support personnel. Download all three programs just below.

Error SS printing Statements

The error occurred if aging by due date was specified and a credit entry with a blank due date was encountered. Created only when a credit invoice entered thru A/R Enter Invoices menu option. Fixed to use the invoice date if the due date is blank.

Problems with the date while attempting to
purge P/R Transactions & the Check Register
(Fixed Feb 2000 - for those who hadn't noticed yet)

Wouldn't accept the cutoff date properly.

Download Instructions

IF you have a problem described above, use the corresponding DOWNLOAD NOW option, to load a copy of the corrected program(s) to a diskette. You may use the same diskette for all of the above.

Note that when the DOWNLOAD NOW is clicked, a window will appear, stating generally that it really doesn't know what to do with the file (depending on your browser). However, an option to 'save to disk' or 'save file' is usually offered. If you don't see these options, try Right Click, then 'save as' or 'save target to'. Do this and save it to your A drive using a blank formatted diskette. Don't change the name.

Then use the KISS Utilities menu option #5, then #7, then #1 to update programs from diskette.
