List Customer Transactions General At the bottom of the window are selection fields you may use for date ranges, and to 'search for' specific data, like an invoice number or a PO number. Example: If 'list all' was selected to get here, put 'payment' in the search for and all transactions with PAYMENT as an invoice number would be listed (within the date range). A blank date means oldest for the Start Date, and latest for the End Date. Use the Restart button to refresh the list if you change the dates or Search For. Use the Clear Button to clear dates and search for, and refresh the list. Listing Open Transactions Shows only unpaid invoices/credits (Amount Due unequal to 0). All are shown if the start date is blank or earlier than the oldest open invoice, which is the default when you click the 'List Open Trans' button. List All Transactions Shows all transactions including payments and by default starts at the first day of the current year. List Activity thru Bill To If Order Entry is used and this customer has a different Bill to Customer than itself, the "List Activity thru Bill To" button is enabled. This customer you have displayed would be the Ship To customer. Note that if this is the case, all invoice activity is usually posted to the Bill To Customer by O/E, and these transactions cannot be displayed here using the List All or List Open buttons, because all activity is posted to the Bill To customer in order to properly receive payments. By clicking "List activity thru Bill To", the Bill To Customer is searched for all invoices that are for this Ship To customer (actually reads the invoice as shipped in O/E), and lists them on screen. The default date to start at is the beginning of the current year. Payment detail is omitted. Column totals for the invoice amounts (sales) and amounts due of the list are on the last line of the list. Expand/Edit Detail Line You may Double Click or Click the Expand/Edit Button to change the Invoice date, the Due Date or P/O number field of the hi-lited line. Also on the resulting window you may display the O/E invoice Line items sold for this invoice and..... if the amount due is zero you may delete this item from the list. This allows removing items such as offsetting adjusting entries which would show up on a statement and just be confusing to the customer.
